The Pitta Constitution
Pitta hair is fine to medium, with a scalp that is warm and reactive. When Pitta is in balance, hair is lustrous, strong, and quick to grow. When Pitta rises — with heat, stress, or the summer season — the scalp inflames, roots overproduce oil, and strands thin at the temples. Our Pitta formulations cool the scalp and restore volume.
Shampoo Bar
Round · Concentrated formula
A cooling, anti-inflammatory cleanse that lifts oil from a reactive scalp without stripping. Bhringraj and spirulina work below the surface to calm the follicle environment. Lathers fully — one bar replaces roughly six bottles.
Conditioner Bar
Square · Use after every cleanse
A light, non-occluding conditioner that seals the strand without adding heat or weight. Kokum butter is the carrier — one of the few conditioning agents that remains stable at scalp temperature. Amla strengthens from the root cortex outward.

Bhringraj
The foundational Ayurvedic scalp herb. Reduces inflammation, supports circulation to the follicle, and is documented across traditional texts as the primary remedy for Pitta-pattern hair thinning.
Amla
Indian gooseberry — one of the highest natural sources of vitamin C. Strengthens the hair shaft, nourishes the scalp microbiome, and counteracts the oxidative stress that Pitta excess creates.
Spirulina
A mineral-dense algae with demonstrated anti-inflammatory effect on the scalp. Works alongside bhringraj to reduce the follicular inflammation that drives Pitta-pattern thinning.
Kokum Butter
A non-comedogenic saturated butter that conditions without occluding. Uniquely suited to reactive scalps — moisturises the strand while leaving the scalp environment clean.
Broccoli Seed
Cold-pressed broccoli seed oil is exceptionally high in erucic acid, which smooths the cuticle without silicone. Adds heat protection and surface shine to fine Pitta strands.
Fragrance Profile
Rosemary opens. Jasmine softens into lavender. Sandalwood grounds the finish — warm, not heavy. The scent is cooling by design.
Each system is two bars, formulated together. The round bar cleanses. The square bar conditions. Both are solid, concentrated, and free of water — the medium that dilutes most of what you are paying for in a bottle.
